ABOUT DRISHYAM :- A sequel to the 2015 film Drishyam, which itself was adapted from the 2013 Malayalam film of the same name, is the 2022 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller film Drishyam 2. It is based on the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name. The movie, which stars Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta, takes place seven years after the events of Drishyam. [5][6] In supporting parts, it also has Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, and Kamlesh Sawant.

The remake began production soon after the original film's release in February 2021 and was completed the same year. With the inclusion of Khanna and Shukla, all of the actors from the previous were kept on. The movie's main photography began in February 2022 and was completed in June 2022. The majority of the filming took place in Goa, but it also included Mumbai and Hyderabad. Devi Sri Prasad wrote the music for the movie's soundtrack.

On November 18, 2022, Drishyam 2 received a worldwide theatrical release. [7][8] It began with a critical analysis, praising the cast performances, narrative, cinematography, and editing in particular. The movie became a huge commercial success after earning 1 billion (US$13 million) in just four days on the international box office and joining India's 100 Crore Club within six days of its release. It was the third-highest grossing Hindi movie of 2022 and one of the highest domestic net grossing Hindi movies as of December 9th, 2022, with global box office receipts of 301 crore

Plot :- Currently, Vijay and his family are peacefully residing in Pondolem, Goa. Vijay still runs a cable firm while realising his dream of opening a movie theatre. He often communicates with screenwriter Murad Ali to create the plot for his upcoming movie, which he hopes to direct. Anju, Vijay's older daughter, has epilepsy and PTSD as a result of her role in Sam's death, on the other hand. To Nandini's dismay, several residents have resorted to circulating untrue rumours about Anju having a relationship with Sam out of jealousy for the family. Jenny, a nice neighbour who is frequently mistreated by her drunken husband Shiv, is Nandini's only confidante.
